Gates original HTD® tooth profile combined with PolyChain® belt construction. Poly Chain® HTD® allows the use of existing 14M HTD sprockets while increasing the capacity of the drive. HTD tooth profile. Teeth and body are made of a lightweight polyurethane compound, specially blended for adhesion to the cords and fabric. Aramid tensile cords provide extraordinary strength. Tough nylon facing protects and reinforces the tooth surface.
